It is not easy to put a flat probe on a cylindrical shape, like a magnetic bar. The lack of stability when moving along this magnetic bar sometimes leads to an erroneous measurement. This is why we have developed this accessory: the magnetic bar guide

This polymer guide is non-magnetic and does not influence the measurement. Slide the probe into the slot provided, lightly tighten the set screw. Then browse the bar in its length easily! The guide exists in different diameters to adapt to your needs.

Technical characteristics:

  • Model Name: Magnetic Bar Guide

  • Connection to the probe: slot and set screw.

  • Material: Polymer PA6/6 + M4 stainless steel screws

  • Operation: To be placed on the bar, then slide slowly

  • Probe Technology: Flat Hall Effect (Radial)

  • Admissible temperature: -20 to +60°C

  • Works on: cylinder, half cylinder, bar, magnetic rod

  • Admissible diameters: from 25 / 28 / 30 / 32 / 40 / 50 mm (other on request)

  • Colour: Depending on the diameter (ex: Red for diameter 25 mm)
  • Weight: 30g

  • Package Type: None

  • Warranty: 24 months under normal conditions of use.

Ideal to use on the magnetic bars which equip the separators boxes, the magnetic pots, magnetic grids and other magnetic filters intended to remove the steels from your product.
If you want the guide to be accompanied by a Material or conformity certificate, remember to ask for it when ordering. Any subsequent delivery is impossible

Tips:

- Remember that the air gap is the enemy of magnetic performance. Remember to remove any impurities that may be stuck on the inner diameter of the Guide or on your inductive sensor of the probe. Similarly, properly clean your magnetic equipment. For example, a clearance of 1 mm between a neodymium magnetic device and the sensor of the probe, can represent a loss of 1000 Gauss (0.1 T).
- The temperature specific to the magnet or the electromagnet directly influences the maximum induction Br that it is capable of supplying. The periodic readings carried out on a magnetic material must be made for an identical temperature.
- The quality of the measurement of induction in contact with a magnet or magnetic system also depends on the person performing the measurement. Patience is important to find the point where the induction is strongest.
- Any intervention in a magnetic field emission environment must be carried out by qualified personnel, and in accordance with the regulations in force on the protection of the health of workers subjected to magnetic fields.
