How is the measurement carried out on my magnetic device?
- connect our USB probe to the smartphone. This hall effect probe is flexible and about 1m long, to allow you to measure in the smallest corners. Launch the app and...measure.
Can the application be installed on all smartphones?
- Yes, on all Android smartphones, whether it's yours, the one the company has entrusted to you, or a new smartphone solely dedicated to the role of Gaussmeter. The application will be available on the Google Play store at the end of 2021, by typing in the search "Gaussmeter-PRO". The application is chargeable, while being less expensive than a traditional gaussmeter that some brands sell for between 1000 and 2000 €!
As with a traditional measuring device, should the smartphone be checked or calibrated at least once a year?
You don't need to part with your smartphone, rest assured! You return the probe to us once a year. We control it on a standard magnet of 10000 Gauss. We issue a certificate if it is correct, with the results and deviations of the measurements. If the probe is outside the tolerances, you have two options: acquire a new one or return the smartphone to us so that we can enter a correction factor. It's up to you.
